We’re currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform in-the-field repairs across our service area. This is a hands-on role for a professional with solid diesel repair experience, strong problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work directly out of a fully equipped service truck.

Position Details

• Job Title: Diesel Technician (Mobile Mechanic)

• Pay: Hourly — based on experience

• Schedule: 30–50 hours/week (full-time)

• Location: Field-based (travel within 100-mile radius of London, KY)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues and drivetrain components in the field

• Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, filter swaps, and fluid checks

• Conduct thorough inspections and safety assessments

• Troubleshoot electrical systems, exhaust components, air brakes, and hydraulic parts

• Maintain accurate service records for every repair

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Required:

• Minimum 5 years of diesel repair experience

• Valid driver’s license

• Must own and maintain your own basic tools

• Able to pass a DOT physical (or obtain one within 1 week of hire)

• Must pass random drug screenings

• At least 18 years old

✔️ Provided by Us:

• Service truck

• 1-inch air gun

• Air compressor and hoses

• Torches

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and diagnostics

• Experience with air brakes, suspension, struts, tires, and hydraulics

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and read basic schematics

• Capable of servicing farm equipment, forklifts, and small off-road machinery

• Basic alignment, undercarriage, and drivetrain knowledge is a plus
